CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT
Design
Proximity to nature is a primary component to healthy learning and character development. Al Manarah will be situated in a rural location close to nature. However, it will be a modern, state-of-the-art facility with good access to roads and services.
Today, the average American boarding school is situated on 160 acres of land with some campuses as large as 500 to 600 acres. Similarly, Al Manarah will offer a large facility in order to accommodate the many extracurricular activities central to a world-class education.
Wherever feasible, the campus will be built using non-polluting materials and facilitate renewable resources such as solar power and atmospheric water harvesting. This will make the campus eco-friendly and dependent on sustainable energy and resources through the use of efficient design and processes. Thus, even the campus will inculcate children and young adults with community values and principles.
Schedule
The school campus is scheduled to open for September 2010.
